What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid(HA) is a naturally occurring polymer found in all living organisms.1 The Human dermis has a high percentage of HA, which hydrates the skin because of its high water-binding properties. HA is the predominant part of the viscoelastic intracellular matrix, which provides and maintains proper tissue volume and acts as a cushion to help protect the skin.1

Neuramis® is innovative HA dermal filler developed by Medytox which has successfully developed a botulinum toxin product, Neuronox, the fourth of its kind in the world. Medytox’s SHAPE Technology, a special double cross linking technology, maximizes the volume and longevity.

Which areas can be treated by Neuramis®?
A.
Neuramis® treatments can be used to smooth out facial lines, augment lips and shape facial contours, such as cheeks, chin and nose. It is a subtle approach to enhancing looks naturally.
The most common areas for treatement :
From the nose to the angle of the mouth (the nasolabial folds)
Marionette Lines (lines that form at the corners of your mouth)
Lips (enhancement)
Cheeks and Chin (shaping)

Q.
Are there any side-effects?
A.
The side-effects may occur. These include swelling, pain, itching, bruising and tenderness at the injection site. They usually disappear spontaneously within a few days to few weeks.

How long does a treatment last?
A.
In general, the results last 6-18 months. The duration depends on many factors such as the patient’s skin, age, injection techniques and injection areas.
